La galería
Desde sus inicios Fotogaleriarcos se ha abocado de forma ininterrumpida a la difusión de la fotografía de autor, tanto en sus aspectos documentales como a nuevas propuestas en el terreno de la imagen. Múltiples exposiciones de autores chilenos y extranjeros, nuevos talentos y consagrados, le han dado al espacio una fuerte presencia en el ámbito de la cultura, las artes y la fotografía. Luego, por efectos de la pandemia y mudarnos a un nuevo lugar se suspendió y postergó su reapertura. El 2022 reabrió su puertas en una nuevo espacio.
FOTOGALERÍARCOS se inició el año 2010. Más de 40 exposiciones, individuales y colectivas se han realizado, exhibiendo obras de fotógrafos diversos de Chile y el mundo. La galería ha habitado dos lugares distintos, uno al momento de inaugurarse, un monumento arquitectónico de la ciudad y actualmente un lugar de estructura y arquitectura muy contemporánea.
Since its inception, Fotogaleriarcos has devoted itself uninterruptedly to the diffusion of author photography, both in its documentary aspects and to new proposals in the field of image. Multiple exhibitions of Chilean and foreign authors, new and established talents, have given the space a strong presence in the field of culture, arts and photography. Then, due to the effects of the pandemic and moving to a new place, its reopening was suspended and postponed. In 2022 it reopened its doors in a new space.
Fotogaleriarcos began in 2010. More than 40 individual and collective exhibitions have been held, showcasing works by various photographers from Chile and the world.
